Summary

Willow knows she’s different from other girls, and not just because she loves tinkering with cars. Willow has a gift. She can look into the future and know people’s dreams and hopes, their sorrows and regrets, just by touching them. She has no idea where this power comes from. But the assassin, Alex, does. Gorgeous, mysterious Alex knows more about Willow than Willow herself. He knows that her powers link to dark and dangerous forces, and that he’s one of the few humans left who can fight them. When Alex finds himself falling in love with his sworn enemy, he discovers that nothing is as it seems, least of all good and evil. In the first book in an action-packed, romantic trilogy, L..A. Weatherly sends readers on a thrill-ride of a road trip — and depicts the human race at the brink of a future as catastrophic as it is deceptively beautiful.

I am now deeply fascinated more about angels. Henceforth, it's been a drug for me and I can't help it reading another brilliant book related to it. L.A. Weatherly has recreated a new form of angels! I never had a doubt that this book will soon rise in fame.

If you realized angels are good, kind or the saviors of the humanity as it seems? Well, think again. In this book turns out to be different - very, very different. The story took it to a whole new level of angel brigade!

The Plot. Very unique, fresh  and ultimately creative! That's how I put it myself. It held simple yet well defined storyline, each words are easy to understand, I instantly fell in-love with the book. And once I set my eyes with the first page -- I was blown away and I didn't want to stop reading it. There are well combination of action, drama, humor etc., each chapters are never been boring to me. It was downright fantastic!

It was unique in the way, that the other characters (such as Alex, Raziel and Jonah) are much important in the story because they also have their own parts, rather focuses only in Willow's point of view. See? How amazing is that? It doesn't only hold the main character encounters in the story but also the people who importantly contributes to the story as well. [Did I said it right? *laughs*]. I really love the expeditions they encountered here, they are like playing cat and mouse here!

The Characters. Goodness gracious! I intensely love the team-up of Willow and Alex, this love part was not similar to some erotic and intense courtship ever but instead, I felt the real compassion and infinite love *giggles for me*, and no sex by the way. Every detail in them beats the heart out of me. Stubborn, silly, funny, serious, bossy and a lot more! Anyway, there are 4 important characters involved in this story, I'll give some infos [not spoilers!] about each cuz I so love them all.

Willow. The female MC. You can read at the summary, what kind of person she is. She has the boyish-type vibe in her. She loves fixing cars which is very cool of her. On the other side, the Queen Weird, guessing why? She never do most girly stuff and she is a psychic. She can read future by hold someones hands, but the person who she's predicting who has the choice for her future. More from her than meets the eye. [no details about this one guys!]

Alex. A mysterious guy holding a rifle. And he called himself AK [I ain't gonna tell what it means]. Aside from it, he found Willow and they set off on a very dangerous long journey.

Raziel & Jonah. I'm not going to tell too much about this two but both gave an intense part here in the story. Small detail here, Raziel is the boss while Jonah is the contact.

Tiny Flaw. Moments on us fellow readers is when there is something odd, interesting or mysterious. We ended up stopping, and took a time to make our own conclusions about it. Some of it, when we delivers our answer it ended up wrong and you are amazed and surprised. Anyway, this book slightly, teeny-tiny bit of flaw. Every time I stopped a part that make some conclusions for my own and I realized when I further reading it -- the conclusion in calculate was right. So I was not surprised at all because I already know it saying, "I knew it!". I'm not disappointed though, and this one won't make my rating to fall down. At the last part of the book, I was definitely surprise! The bomb revelation! I was shocked when I found out about it. This really help the book back to the top! *applause*

Extremely recommended! I don't hesitate to say so because I loved it wholeheartedly. Loved it from first to the last page of the book. Angel (UK title) or Angel Burn magnificently sends me flying in astonishment and creativeness, well salute to L.A. Weatherly! :]

*I received this free eGalley via from publisher Candlewick Press via NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. Thanks guys!^^

I'm glad you enoyed this one so much. After reading Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick I didn't know what another novel with angels would be like. This seems like a great one to try out. Thanks for your review!
