Summary

Nora Grey's life is still far from perfect. Surviving an attempt on her life wasn't pleasant, but atleast she got a guardian angel out of it: a mysterious, magnetic, gorgeous guardian angel. But, despite his role in her life, Patch has been acting anything but angelic. He's more elusive than ever and even worse, he's started spending time with Nora's arch-enemy, Marcie Millar.

Nora would have hardly noticed Scott Parnell, an old family friend who has moved back to town, if Path hadnt been acting so distant. Even with Scott's totally infuriating attitude Nora finds herself drawn to him - despite her lingering feeling that he's hiding something.

Haunted by images of her murdered father, and questioning whether her nephilim bloodline has anything to do with his death, Nora puts herself increasingly in dangerous situations as she desperatly searches for answers. But maybe some things are better left buried, because the truth could destroy everything - and everyone - she trusts.

*******

Nora began to unravel the truth behind everything in her life. The death of his father and the truth about her Nephilim bloodline. Patch became distant to her without a specific reason. Unexpected revelations and revealing secrets causing it to be more exciting and intriguing.

Everything heats up, from Patch and Nora's relationship, the other characters behind the story, tear-jerking drama, great comedic scenes and the intensely ground-breaking revelations and mysteries. That I am sure you won't take your eyes off the book.

Another great success for Ms. Becca, I guess she intended to blow our minds off! Back when I read Hush, Hush, I couldn't stop thinking about Patch and Nora, they both sends a chilling excitement in my body, wanting it more and more. Both of them shows how immensely passionate they are.

My favorite part is when Vee is around, which sends me laughing and laughing. There are times when she is downright serious but it ends up completely hilarious. I loved her so much, I couldn't resist of liking her more.

Other than that, the climax of the story really drives me insane. There are a lot of things that you never expected. I needed to read those part over and over again just to reassure myself if that was real. And it was after all. I felt my heart pumping to my chest while I was reading the dialogues. I will make you feel breathless with each shocking revelations. And Becca shows a very twist in the ending making me drool, wanting it more. It will stab you over over and over again but you will never ever feel it. That is why I love this damn book!

You'll be missing the fun and the excitement if you haven't read this stunning sequel of Hush, Hush. And I am sure this won't be the last of it! :]
