Summary

For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her...until Patch comes along.

With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment, but after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure whom to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is far more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.

For Nora is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost her life.

*******

This book occurred to me couple of months last year. I was at the bookstore and took a glimpse on this book. I instantly fell in-love just by looking at its cover and I am sure this book sure is a hit!

A thrilling debut novel of Becca Fitzpatrick in 2009.  This is a story of a typical 16 year-old girl named Nora Grey. Who live normally and peacefully at Coldwater, Maine with her mom. Though life couldn't be so much better for Nora, a guy named Patch suddenly became her bio partner, a guy that is tall, handsome and very, very mysterious. Nora felt drawn to him considering he has this dangerous aura around him.

This book is so BREATH-TAKING! I was right from the very moment I set my eyes on this book. I almost finished the book in one sitting, but I wanted myself to have an exciting nerves. I read it twice already and I don't think that would be the last of it. After reading it, I couldn't help myself to cry -- in a good way, of course. Weird, isn't it?

The storyline was well thought out, from the characters, the scenario, climax -- everything! I idolized Ms. Becca for making an awesome story without doing it too hard. I love the dialogues, the amusing and the heart-stopping parts of the story. The characters are amazing from start to finish, and they are easy to fall in-love with.

The MC, Nora, is cute, charming, smart, and simply amusing with a unusual history background. In short, her life is intriguing, needed less to say you have to read the complete story to know. Vee Sky, Nora's best friend, my most favorite character in the book. She is highly spontaneous, adventurous, very frank and funny than Nora. She is the one who carries the comedic part of the book. And then there is Patch, in most books I read, he was the most hottest male MC I knew. The mysterious and alluring give, really wants me to read it more. "The Ultimate Bad Boy", just like Ms. Becca mentioned about him. I definitely agrees to that short description.

I highly recommend this book to everyone! If you want some thrilling action, breath-taking storyline, heart-pumping romance? Then this book will have it all!

Haha, I read this one twice too!

I enjoyed this book too, and I especially liked the concept of fallen angels. I felt that there were many questions left unawnswered though. Great review!

You know... I really did not like this book at all! I suffered through and had to force myself to finish. I always like to give authors a chance though because things can get better and with all the loving reviews her fans write, I may have to at least check out the next installment. Do you think it's worth it even though I didn't enjoy the first one? I'm your newest follower BTW.
